Asthma UK are inviting cyclists to raise money for the charity by taking part in two cycle challenges in 2012.

The Beach to Beach cycle is scheduled for May 19th and will traverse the south coast of England from Bournemouth to Brighton. Covering a total distance of 140 miles over two days the route meanders through the New Forest and South Downs national park. It’s all on road cycling and is suitable for both experienced riders and novices looking for a unique challenge. The ride is fully supported with overnight camping, entertainment, food and drinks provided.

Another 140 mile route through the stunning Scottish countryside from Arden on the banks of Loch Lomond up over the Arrochar Alps and along coastal roads to the overnight stop in Oban. On day two the route will head north along the coast and up through the highlands to Fort Augustus at Loch Ness. Again, fully supported and with camping, food and drink laid on.
